POSITION TITLE:	Sourcing Specialist (Integrated Circuits - Semiconductors)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with European suppliers.
• Work closely with assigned salespeople to gain an understanding of the each customer's specific needs.
• Utilize a proprietary database to source the product to meet our customer's requirements.
• Qualify the best offers, place purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Work with the sales support group to expedite and process all purchasing paperwork timely and accurately.
• Meet delivery requirements of our customers.
• Ensure total customer/supplier satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3 years sourcing/purchasing experience within the electronic component industry (or other technology fields).
• B. S. or equivalent.
• Must have a sophisticated understanding of and remain current on market conditions including, but not limited to the supplier base and their availabilities, pricing and competitive alternatives.
• Must have the ability to make prompt business decisions regarding whether to purchase product in any particular situation.
• Must maintain expected purchasing activity requirements set forth by management.
• Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and organizational skills required.

• Bi-Lingual in English and German.
